Patricia Gross LM, CPM is the owner and founder of Kueo Birth Center, PLLC (2019-current) and Co-owner of Kueo Birth Center and Collective, LLC (2023)

Patricia (Patty) has always been drawn to pregnancy and birth even as a young child, yet she did not realize the calling on her life until she became a mother in 1998. What could have been a traumatic birth experience for others she turned to good and became a midwife to “be” the change. This personal experience gave her a testimony to share with others and unfailing drive to give women compassionate informed care.

As a graduate from the Association of Texas Midwives, Patricia is an active member of the Association of Texas Midwives (ATM).  She is a preceptor for ATM and NARM, educating and teaching student midwives throughout Texas. She is also an anatomy and physiology instructor for the Association of Texas Midwives.

Through birthing her 4 children in and out of the hospital setting, Patricia has experienced many facets of birth. She believes every woman has her own journey to take in pregnancy/birth and desires to hold that space for each one of her clients.

Since 2000, Patricia has played an active role in birth. She was a certified birth Doula with DONA and was a Lamaze Labor Support Specialist serving women in hospitals throughout DFW. In 2002, she added assisting CNM’s at two busy birth centers here in DFW as an administrator, birth/postpartum assist to include training, teaching CPR, and mentoring new birth assists who desired to work in a birth center setting. In 2012, she embarked on becoming a licensed/certified professional midwife and graduated from the Association of Texas Midwives in 2016.

Patricia is an active member of her church. She loves traveling home to Southern Arkansas to disconnect and reflect, and spending time with her family here in Texas—this includes her fur babies!

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

Patty is a preceptor with Association of Texas Midwives and loves sharing her knowledge with future midwives. As a preceptor she believes the families are the ones who teach her students. There are not enough midwives to meet the demand and we are thankful to the clients who allow them to participate in their care.
